PHASE: Rugby Manager · last updated 9 October 2026
PHASE: Rugby Manager is published by FWDS & BCKS LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: info@fwdsandbcks.com.
The short version: the game itself collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. The Android and iOS apps show a small number of adverts, served by Google AdMob, and that is the one place a third party is involved. Everything below is detail on those two sentences.
By the game: nothing. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting service and no telemetry of any kind. It does not ask for, and cannot use, your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or notifications.
By the advertising in the apps: your device's advertising identifier and coarse technical data, as described under Advertising below. The web version at phaserugbymanager.com shows no adverts and collects nothing at all.
Your careers are saved on your own device, in the browser or app's private storage:
None of it leaves the device. Nobody else can read it, including FWDS & BCKS LTD. Deleting the app, or clearing the site data, deletes all of it permanently: there is no copy anywhere else, which is why the game has an Export button on the Save / Load screen for keeping your own backups.
The game itself is fully offline once loaded: the simulation makes no network requests, sends nothing anywhere, and its published source is checked automatically on every build for anything that could (network calls, third-party scripts, remote fonts), with the build failing if one appears. The one exception in the Android and iOS apps is advertising (below), which is the app shell's doing rather than the game's, and which the Pro Manager purchase switches off entirely.
The game also contains two kinds of link that open outside it, and only when you tap them: the app store page, and the PHASE community server on Discord. Opening them is your choice, and nothing about you or your career goes with the tap. If you post a bug report on Discord, it is because you copied it and pasted it there yourself; Discord's own privacy policy then applies to what you post.
The game can prepare two reports for you, both on the Report a Bug screen in the Manager menu: a bug report, and a feedback report that counts which parts of the game you have used. They are built on your device and shown to you in full before anything happens. They contain the game's version, your device's browser description (user agent), screen size and language, details of your current career and, in the bug report, anything you type. The game never sends either one: it leaves your device only if you choose to email it with your own mail app or copy and paste it somewhere yourself. If you email it to us, we use it to fix the game and for nothing else, and we delete it on request.
Where the game is distributed through an app store, it offers a small catalogue of optional one-off purchases (Pro Manager, extra club funds, a squad recovery, lifting the salary cap, facility upgrades and similar). Every transaction is handled entirely by the app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) under their privacy policies. The game never sees your name, your payment details or your account: it is told only which purchases exist, and it records those ownership flags on your device. What a purchase adds inside the game is written on the product itself; none of them collect or transmit anything, and none of them play the matches for you.
The Android and iOS apps show a single banner advert at the foot of seven screens (Home, the day's schedule, results, news, the press room, finances and the highlights of a live match), and offer a few optional "watch an advert instead" buttons that replace a fee the game would otherwise charge. Adverts are served by Google AdMob. Advertising is the only thing in the apps that uses the network and the only thing that involves a third party. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and coarse technical data (device model, operating system version, rough region derived from your IP address) to serve and measure adverts, under Google's privacy policy; the partners it may share data with are listed on Google's partner page.
Where the law requires it you are asked for consent before the first advert, and on iOS you are asked whether the app may track you. Saying no to either limits adverts to non-personalised ones; it never limits the game. Adverts never appear on the title screen, at half-time, at full time, while the game is waiting for a decision from you or over a dialogue, and none of the "watch an advert" buttons gives a paying player anything a non-paying one cannot earn.
The one-off Pro Manager purchase removes every banner permanently; the optional "watch an advert" buttons remain, because you are the one asking for them. You can also reset or delete your device's advertising identifier at any time in your phone's settings. The web version of the game shows no advertising at all.
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anybody. Adverts in the apps are limited to content rated for general audiences, and the game is not directed at children. It contains no chat, no user-generated content and no social features.
PHASE: Rugby Manager holds no account and no data about you anywhere but on your own phone, so there is nothing to ask us to delete. To delete everything the app has stored:
Nothing is kept by FWDS & BCKS LTD, so there is no retention period: once it is gone from your device, it is gone. If you have a question about any of this, write to the address below.
The game holds nothing about you to access, correct, export or erase. The data on your device is yours and under your control: export it from the Save / Load screen, or delete it by clearing the app's data. For data handled by Google AdMob, Google's privacy policy explains your choices, and your phone's settings let you reset or delete the advertising identifier it uses.
Questions about this policy, or anything else: info@fwdsandbcks.com, or by post to FWDS & BCKS LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
PHASE: Rugby Manager is an unofficial, independent game. Club names are real; competitions, grounds and sponsors are renamed or invented. Player and referee names are real, used for identification in a sporting database and nothing else; the game is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by or connected to any player, club, league or governing body. No official badges, kits or logos are included. If you are a player or referee named in the game and would rather not be, write to the address above and you will be removed in the next update.
This policy applies to the web version at its published address and to any app-store build made from the same source.
